Fresh IE (short for “Fresh In Eternity”) is a Grammy-

nominated Canadian rapper, songwriter, and producer whose

groundbreaking work in faith-based hip hop has earned him

international recognition and deep respect within the music

industry. Hailing from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Fresh IE has

released over 20 albums and is widely regarded as one of the

pioneers of Christian hip hop in Canada.

Since emerging on the scene in the early 2000s, Fresh IE has

used his platform to inspire transformation—bridging the gap

between raw street realities and redemptive storytelling. In

2003, he made history by becoming the first Canadian

Christian artist to be nominated for a Grammy Award, and

since then, he’s accumulated numerous accolades including

multiple GMA Covenant Awards, Shai Awards, and Juno

nominations.

Beyond music, Fresh IE is a dynamic speaker, community

leader, and mentor, known for his outreach to at-risk youth,

Indigenous communities, and those impacted by addiction,

incarceration, and trauma. Through his non-profit work and

mentorship programs, he channels his own story of

redemption into a mission to uplift others.

With a gritty lyrical style, powerful testimony, and a heart

rooted in faith, Fresh IE continues to innovate and inspire—

pushing creative boundaries while staying true to his calling.

Whether on stage, in the studio, or in the streets, his

message remains the same: hope, healing, and the power of

transformation.
